The objective of the Manufacturing Engineer is to create and support efficient manufacturing lines and production systems. The Manufacturing Engineer improves, designs, and builds workstations for future product development.

General Requirements
Minimum Education Requirement: Bachelor of Science in Manufacturing Engineering
Minimum Experience Requirement: 5+ years of related experience
Job Duties
Design, document, assemble, qualify, and introduce production assembly/test/inspection fixtures and equipment.
Take ownership of new products during pilot production phase through successful and sustained product launch. This includes driving new product introduction schedules, resolving manufacturability issues, and driving improvements in cost and efficiency.
Provide product and process DFM (Design for Manufacturing) input to enhance manufacturability and product cost.
Create an efficient manufacturing assembly line, specifying and/or refining BOMs, workflow processes, and detailed work instructions.
Design and create production equipment, fixtures, and tests as needed to build the production line either internally or as needed at suppliers.
Provide training and support to production technicians.
Provide technical support analyzing and/or performing failure analysis for discrepant production components, assemblies, and field returns.
Lead/participate in improvement initiatives focused on material cost reduction, capacity enhancement, and streamlining of the supply chain.
Support, maintain, improve, modify, and further develop the manufacturing line as needed for sustaining production.
Driving manufacturing process and understanding industry specifications.
Collaborate with team to implement operating procedures, resolve system malfunctions, and provide technical information.
Develop and maintain maintenance schedules and procedures for production equipment and machinery.
Repair equipment as needed.
Develop, prioritize, and maintain a project list for manufacturing engineering.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
